Implementing Guidelines are also attached to the policy to assist System Administrators and Connectivity Service Providers to achieve compliance with the standards. |

This updated policy includes changes to the Issuing Officer, Responsible Department, and corresponding authority to hear appeals (formerly the Associate Vice Chancellor - Information Technology, now the Administrative Vice Chancellor). |
| 2/02/2015 | Pol 401 | Minimum Security Standards for Network Devices. Technical changes include hyperlink updates, added references, updates to IT terms, and update to the definition of Password in Attachment A to require password length of eight characters instead of six. |
